Really enjoyed the chicken and waffle sandwich. The chicken tasted very fresh, and the syrup flavor wasn't overpowering. The tater tot sides it came with were also soo crispy. We also got the hushpuppies with I think pimento cheese in it (?), which were decent but I prefer the normal hushpuppies. Would highly recommend for their chicken / waffle dishes and tater tots.

The hushpuppies were amazing and honestly that was probably all I needed to know to be sure I'll be back. However, we also got chicken and waffles for the kids and I probably stole half of it from them because it was so good and so plentiful that they couldn't finish it even though they wanted to.

This was a really fun meal in a food hall filled with options! We had the BBQ sundae which was pulled pork over mac and cheese, as well as the Wolfpack Sandwich. The Wolfpack Sandwich was really delicious and unique! The service was very fast and the hostess was very kind in explaining all the meal options for us. It was quite a busy food hall at Morgan St but there was plenty of room for seating even with our large group of friends.

Well, this place was delicious! It's in a food hall, which we didn't expect, but it's a really comfortable/inviting food hall. So glad we actually managed to get here!

I showed up at Morgan Street food Hall intending to go to Gym tacos, but I pivoted last minute and decided to try out Iyla's...and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the wolf pack sandwich and a side of macaroni and cheese and collard greens. I'm a mac and cheese snob and I have to tell you, theirs was reallllly good. And as someone who just recently moved here from Nashville, I can sincerely say they did a damn fine job with their Nashville hot chicken. That sandwich was dope! Really enjoyed my meal here, and I can't wait to come back and try out some more menu items!

Got the Chicken & Waffle sandwich and Fried Chicken sandwich, each with side of tots, to go. All were excellent, and honestly, were an excellent counterpoint to each other. The Chicken & Waffle was a luxurious mix of flavors: rich pimiento cheese, balanced with the acid and tang of the slaw, with added depth of comeback sauce. Chicken was great and all within a liege waffle with crystallized sugar. Messy, yes, but excellent. The fried chicken sandwich was a straightforward proposition: excellent chicken with delightful ranch and pickles. We enjoyed trading off sandwiches for the balance. Tots were also fantastic. We sought this place out based on Yelp reviews, and they don't lie. Highly recommend!

Iyla's Southern Kitchen was stop number 3 of my food tour and my favorite spot we visited. We were given bbq sundae with a mac n cheese base topped with bbq, sauce and pickles. The bbq was moist and tasty and I liked the sauce that was tomato based and not vinegar. Even though I enjoyed the dish I would have preferred it separate than all piled together. Iyla's is on my list to return and I am intrigued by the other menu items.
